Nelson Vineyard Accommodation

Sunset Valley Vineyard is located in the hills of Upper Moutere, between Motueka and Nelson and only fifteen minutes from the cafés of the seaside village of Mapua. We are a leisurely 30 minutes from Nelson and surrounded by three of New Zealand's national parks.

Our accommodation is chalet style and is located above our working winery. The area is the perfect location for wine tasting, tramping, golf, horse riding, swimming or enjoying the Nelson region's arts and crafts.

With Kahurangi, Nelson Lakes and Abel Tasman National Parks and two marine reserves close by, the apartment provides the perfect base to explore the area.

Enjoy the tracks, trails, bird and marine life and then return to enjoy a glass of wine on the deck or take a day visit over Takaka Hill (New Zealand's longest) and visit Golden Bay.

Whether you're here to relax or take in the many activities the Nelson region has to offer, make our vineyard accommodation your base to return to.

Vintage is as good a time as any to visit, you can watch the process from picking, to pressing and fermentation.
